If you’ve never met me before then hello, I’m a writer living in the North East of Scotland with my little family. It’s good to see you here! Why not read on to find out a little bit more about me and my stories…
What do I write? – Fantasy novels!
Think world building, magic and romance with a little peril, sometimes lgbt or neurospicy protagonists and found family to bring it all together.
What do I read? – Fiction
You might most often find me reading fantasy (including cosy and romantasy) but so help me if you let that come between me and my other loves… I also read period dramas, romance, speculative fiction, sci fi, childrens, crime and murder mystery.
Weirdly I really struggle to read non-fiction but put that baby in an audiobook or better yet a podcast and I’m there with bells on.
What do I want? – To tell stories
I really want to be able to introduce you all to the weird and wonderful characters in my brain and the fantastical worlds they discover. I want to help people of all ages to find out what worlds and characters might be in their brains, ready to leap onto the page. Most of all I want for my kid to be able to read my books one day.
What else do people need to know about me?
- I will never use AI in my writing
- I will do my best not to associate with or promote any project using AI
- While my romances don’t always have the door fully open… it isn’t fully closed either.
