Swapped (working title):

‘They should have killed me as soon as I appeared in the forest, that was the rule’

Brynn grew up in a small human village but she doesn’t belong here. Everyday she visits the rift in the forest and wonders what her real family would make of her life. That is until the child who has been living in her place bursts through the rift now grown and bringing change into Brynn’s quiet routine. Velle brings with her danger and possibility which will take more than gardening shears to untangle.

Thrown together by fate and the actions of a possibly sentient rift, can the pair find a way to free themselves, or will they have to learn how to depend on each other and change what the rift is planning next.

Magic Shop (working title):

The ceiling had not been happy about it. In fact when Pepper painted one wall into an ombre from blue to orange it had sulked all day and taken to frightening interested customers with flashes of lighting.

Pepper inherited the shop and its magical quirks from her Grandma, she also inherited the employees and their magical quirks too. But when Ash arrives seeking help with something he inherited from a rich and distant Grandma of his own their lives and their peaceful world are about to be turned upside down. Who knew that magical myths and sentient flames could cause so much trouble.
